Swimming Lessons
Last Thursday Room 4 went swimming at Panmure Lagoon with some of LS1. We were with our teacher Mr Goodin, Mr Ogilvie and Mrs Caroline. We were there to learn about swimming.
First, we got dressed for swimming. Then, when we got on the bus it went “VROOM VROOM!”. I was next to my friend Loa. We were going down the big hill and I was kind of terrified. “Beep beep” we got off and changed out of our uniform.
When we got there we were put in separate groups. There was a group where they knew a lot about swimming and one that didn’t.
We had a swimming instructor. We played with the little surfboards. We had a race and we had to go through the tunnel.
And we had sharks and dolphins. And dolphins had to be at the back of the sharks and sharks had to put a noodle around their waist and dolphins had to peddle at the back and the sharks had to walk. And we had to race to the end. I said, “splish splash I was taking a bath”.
We played a game where we had to swim to the end without teamwork. I got water in my eye. It’s basically the sharks and dolphins game but without help and sea animals.
And after that we got dressed and we went back to PBS.
